Love the insight and the ...Great, great list, Ian. Love the insight and the imagination. I'm old enough to remember all of these -- yet, in honesty, the Traber one escapes me. I too would love to hear Fanzone's trumpet version. But, alas, like all the lists on ESPN, if it happened before the days of 24 hour video coverage and 500 channels, it didn't happen. I will say this about Fanzone, though. On the few times he appeared in a national broadcast back in the day, invariably, the announcer -- usually Curt Gowdy -- would mention the fact that in his spare time he likes to play the trumpet.
